Meet Matthew, your coach in the world of online fitness.

Hello, and welcome! 


As a fitness coach, my approach is all about cutting out the nonsense! I focus on building sustainable strength, mobility, nutrition, and habits that help you feel good in your body – today and into the future.

  

Having had a keen interest in health and fitness for over 20 years, and 2 years of coaching experience, I’m passionate about guiding the people I support through simple, manageable changes that lead to lasting results. 


I’m an avid fan of outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling, I love high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and have recently begun coaching HYROX. I enjoy incorporating these elements into my coaching programmes, however, I understand not everyone enjoys the same things, so we’ll find what works best for you! Making sure you’re motivated and enjoying your journey, every step of the way.


On the theme of cycling, one of the most mental fitness activities and accomplishments I've completed, is cycling 1000 km in Thailand, from Bangkok to Phuket. Do you have any similar challenges or something exciting in the pipeline?


I believe that nutrition is the foundation of living optimally. It's the key component that supports not only all of the hard work you put into exercise and training, but also your daily life. Without the right fuel, achieving lasting results becomes much harder. That’s why I focus on building sustainable nutrition habits alongside fitness, to help you create a balanced, long-term approach to your health and well-being.


When we work together, I make sure that we cut through the fluff, ditch fads, ignore the latest viral trends, and focus on building the right mindset for long-term success.

Health and fitness should fit seamlessly into your life, not add more pressure. So, no matter your age or where you’re starting from, my goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to make choices that work for you. I want you to enjoy the journey and feel proud of your progress, no matter how big or small.

Health & Fitness Qualifications


I have Ofqual regulated Level 3 qualifications in Gym Instructing, Personal Training, Nutrition, and Sports Massage, all awarded by Active IQ, in the UK (one of the only countries in the world where personal training is regulated). 


I am also in the process of attaining level 4 qualifications in Nutrition for Weight Management and Athletic Performance, and Sports Massage.
